REHEARSAL ATTENDANCE/COMMITMENT PROTOCOL
To ensure the Society stages musical performances of the highest artistic standard and in support of our appointed Artistic and Musical Directors and Choreographer, your management Committee requires ALL CAST MEMBERS to give the appropriate level of attendance and commitment to all rehearsal schedules going forward.
It is accepted that members have work and /or family commitments that may result in missing the odd rehearsal, it is however unfair on the production team and other cast members when rehearsals are a consistently missed without notification and /or good reason. All we ask is that you respect your fellow cast members and production team, which is vital to ensure another successful production.
Your Management Committee is appreciative of your support and understanding.
Thankyou

To ensure the Society stages musical performances of the highest artistic standard and in support of our appointed Artistic and Musical Directors and Choreographer, your management Committee requires ALL CAST MEMBERS to give the appropriate level of attendance and commitment to all rehearsal schedules going forward.
- A record of attendance of acting members at rehearsal is maintained by the secretary.
- Cast members are required to inform the secretary via the following email address [email protected] when unable to attend rehearsal. This includes advance notice of holidays and work commitments etc. as well as illness.
- Members who miss three (3) scheduled rehearsals without notification will be considered by the Management Committee for removal from the cast of the current production. NOTE:- this is 3 rehearsals across the whole rehearsal period and not just 3 in a row.
- To AVOID removal from the cast those members after missing two (2) scheduled rehearsals WITHOUT NOTIFICATION will be contacted by the chair or appointed deputy to ascertain the reason (s) why they are struggling to meet rehearsal demands.
- Members are encouraged to try and avoid the month before the production as a main holiday period. Those members who are on holiday MORE THAN A WEEK IN THE FINAL MONTH OF REHEARSAL may jeopardise their chance of being considered for a part or being in the show.
